PCS – Performance and Communication Skills – is an approach to professional development that involves raising the performer’s awareness of their audience’s needs.

Developed by Professors Peter Renshaw and Peter Weigold at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the 1980s and 90s, this approach is generally recognised to improve an artist’s performance, because their communication skills are greatly enhanced.

PCS brings together highly-respected industry professional tutors and artists with performers of all ages and levels of ability, through masterclasses, workshops and summer schools, preparing arias and scenes for performance to a range of community audiences.
